Should new olive oil be bitter?

the new oil is not clear,is this the reason for bitternessShould new olive oil be bitter?
Bitter: Many new to olive oil are surprised to find that this is a preferred characteristic of olive oils; usually obtained from green olives or olives turning color.Should new olive oil be bitter?
Olive oil is like wine. U can get a bottle for $100 or $5 and the $5 one can be better than the $100 one. Nonetheless, olive oil should not be clear (as like water, but u should be able to see through it). Extra virgin and virgin oil should have an amber color to it. If yours has a slight greenish tint to it then u bought ';pure'; olive oil (no matter what the label says) which comes from the fourth or fifth pressing of the olive. This ';pure'; oil has a higher acid level which may be giving u the bitter taste.
